I am making a word document in which I was using activeX check boxes to hide text when its unwanted.
(For context, it's a receipt that sometimes needs certain disclaimers and sometimes doesn't)
But, for reasons best known to Microsoft it sometimes turns my activex checkboxes into images making the document entirely useless
(I did look into this a bit, but from what I can see I just can't risk including them if they are just gonna brick)
Some sources say form control is fine for simple tasks, but also say they can't be used in VBA.
Articles like this :
NO LINKS ALLOWED FOR NOOBS
Is that seriously all they "do"? (Nothing)
I see people saying they have uses but I can't find anyone using them for anything.
I've not really used VBA features in word, though I have in excel and as far as I know its never turned them into images so I never needed to look into form control.
Can they make text hide?
Side note, is this really forcing me to attach a file to post?
