Sharepoint List won't let me edit one column

    Sharepoint List won't let me edit one column

    I have a sharepoint list, I want to change the column type for dates, to show as dates. The information was imported from an excel file. Every column but the one with date has an Edit tab I can reach. I am just starting to learn Sharepoint and am a bit confused with this issue. Attached an image for reference. Thank you in advance for any help.
