Excel Power Query referring to previous steps in Editor

Hi,

I'd like to bread an entry down into pieces as it would make it easier to see where errors are;

what i have is ;

and I'd like to do each piece as a step not using addcolumn and then join together in end so

Table.AddColumn( prevous, "new", each year&month&day)


but I cant' get this to work, do I need to state them outside of the let / in statement? I've attached a workbook showing what I've tried.
