Can I enter in a cell and have that data appear in another cell

    Hi
I have attached a spread sheet, I would like to enter a price in either of columns D,E,F,G,H,I or J and the same amount appear in K. Is that possible? I only have 1 entry in each row.

    Re: Simple question

You could use this formula in K2:

    =SUM(D2:J2)

    Copy down as required.

    Hope this helps.

    Administrative Note:

This is a very poor thread title.

We would very much like to help you with your query, however the thread title does not really convey what your request is about. Tell us what you are trying to do, not how you think it should be done.

Please take a moment to amend your thread title. Make sure that the title properly explains your request. Your title should be explicit and not be generic (this includes function names used without an indication of what you are trying to achieve).

Please see Forum Rule #1 about proper thread titles and adjust accordingly. To edit the thread title, open the original post to edit and then click on Go Advanced (bottom right) to access the area where you can edit your title.

(Note: this change is not optional. No help to be offered until this moderation request has been fulfilled.)

You're welcome. If that takes care of your original question, please take a moment to select Thread Tools from the menu above and to the right of your first post in this thread, and mark the thread as SOLVED.

You might also like to know that you can directly thank those who have helped you by clicking on the small "star" icon located in the lower left corner of a post that you have found to be helpful (not just in this thread - for any post that has helped you).
