    Automatically Generating Datasheets: best approach?

    Hello everyone,

I am currently working on a project to automatically generate datasheets for about 1,500 products. The demand for sustainability and raw material information is increasing, so we want to create a datasheet for each product containing all relevant information.

I am gathering all the data in Excel, but since each product category has different specifications, it quickly becomes complex. That's why I'm wondering:

    - Is it possible to create some kind of product information database from Excel, or should I look into another program?
    - Can the product information be automatically placed into a Word or PDF template so that the datasheets always stay up to date when the (Excel) data changes?
    - Does anyone have tips on the best way to approach this? Would it be wise to hire someone experienced with MS Excel and Power Automate, or would a PIM system (Product Information Management) be a better/simpler solution? Or is there perhaps a middle ground?

Im not entirely sure if this is the right forum for this, but I hope so! If it fits better somewhere else, feel free to let me know :).

    Any suggestions are welcome!

I think you should be looking at a Relationship DataBase Management System ("RDBMS") such as Microsoft Access. It sounds like this is what is needed.
