    microsoft outlook question

Several days ago I opened my MS Outlook 2003 and saw that some of my emails were disappeared. I used scanpst.exe, but nothing was changed. Now, I've no idea what to do.

    Re: microsoft outlook question

Sounds like auto-archiving. I would check this first.

According to Microsoft, "Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2007

By default, several Outlook folders are set up with the AutoArchive feature turned on. The following is a list of the folders that have the AutoArchive feature turned on and of each folder's default aging period:

    The Calendar folder (6 months)
    The Tasks folder (6 months)
    The Journal folder (6 months)
The Sent Items folder (2 months)
The Deleted Items folder (2 months)

The Inbox, the Notes, the Contacts, and the Drafts folders do not have the AutoArchive feature turned on automatically. You cannot use the AutoArchive feature with the Contacts folder, as the Contacts folder does not have an archive property. "

There is a method from one Microsoft forum: see it below, otherwise you may follow to next phrase from google outlook repair

Start Outlook by using the profile that contains the .pst file that you tried to repair.
On the Go menu, click Folder List.
In the Folder List, you may see a folder named Recovered Personal Folders that contains your default Outlook folders or a Lost and Found folder. The recovered folders are usually empty, because this is a rebuilt .pst file. The Lost and Found folder contains the folders and items recovered by the Inbox Repair tool. Items that are missing from the Lost and Found folder cannot be repaired.
