    SUMIF or better solution

    Hello,
    please help me to add only negative values from a large database.
    I have losses in shops and I want to know how much is the total loss out of all the shops.

    Is this really an Outlook query, or an Excel one?

    Assuming your sum data is in column C, Try this:

    =SUMIF(C:C,"<"&0,C:C)

    SUMIF is enough for this - no need for SUMIFS unless there are multiple criteria.

    Multiple criteria?
    Hmmm.... I always can figure out one.
    lets, say >0 ; >1000
    Can I use multiple criteria looking in different columns?
