How do I set up a Data File to archive all emails in Outlook 2013

My employer has a 6 month inbox retention policy but I would like to save all emails (inbox, sent, etc.). Can I create a data file to put these emails into to avoid the retention policy?

Even better, is there a way for them to automatically go into such a date file? I have 99 GB of storage space to use.

    Look into the AutoArchiving options.

Some of the things I do are to have filter rules to move routine stuff to specific folders. I have a "Temp" folder to which I move stuff that I think I might need but have no immediate use for - I go through this maybe once a month to weed out old stuff that can't possibly be useful anymore.

My delete folder is set up to delete mail older than 180 days every two weeks, so I feel I can take a lot more "risks" with the safety net in place.
One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.

I have rules set up to move certain emails to specific folders, but what I'm really looking for is a way to archive every single folder and subfolder contained within Outlook.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a backup of everything? At one of my previous employers, there was an option for a data file, but at my current employer, I don't see that option. This so called data file was a data dump of everything going on in Outlook, basically an endless archive. I would have to manually copy and paste everything into it, but it only took a few minutes per month.

I think all folders "inherit" the "standard" archive settings, and you can customize each folder. I go the customization route because I have different periods for retention and sometimes I want to save the data and other times I simply want to delete it.

My PST file is now in the "company cloud." It used to be held locally. What I did then was set up a task on the Windows Task Scheduler to save the PST and archive files to a thumb drive attached to the back of my computer.
