Hello to all!
I am in need of a rule or a macro that can be run as a tool that would do the following;
save/print incoming/outgoing email to PDF including attachments
save the file as "date" "time" "sender" "subject".pdf (i.e. = 2018-11-06 1456 myemail biscuits.pdf) this allows for proper sorting etc...
place the pdf file into a specified folder (this can be specified inside the code and changed when creating a new rule - multiple macros etc...)
I would like to set up a rule that could run this macro upon sending/receiving this way I could control easily what emails are converted and more easily create other rules to do the same with different folders.
This would also be good to have as a button, similar to the bluebeam PDF button add-on, that would save the same format but would ask where to save the file with the default location to be on the desktop.
I know you guys like to have something to start with, but I have never made a macro for outlook, and have only made a few for Excel so I don't know exactly where to start.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
