    Red face Vlookup help, please??!

    Can someone please help me correct this vlookup formula in the attached workbook? I need the vendor name from 'Sheet 1' to align with the Item ID (Column 1; 'Sheet'), which is the vendor code.

    Thank you!!

    Re: Vlookup help, please??!

    Formula for B2 =VLOOKUP(A4,Sheet1!$A$2:$D$500,2)

    The IDs in Sheet1 must be sorted numerically smallest to largest.

    This is a better solution.

    B2 =INDEX(Sheet1!$A$2:$D$500,MATCH(A4,Sheet1!$A$2:$A$500,0),2)
