Does anyone know how to search Outlook for curly brackets in the subject?
Ideally an opening and closing one with 10 character inbetween.
Tried the standard search, advanced and query builder, but keep getting no hits when there are some.

In Outlook, searching for curly brackets (e.g., { }) can be tricky due to special characters. Heres a workaround to search for curly brackets with specific criteria:
Use Advanced Search:
In the Search box, click the drop-down arrow to open Advanced Find.
Choose Advanced Find > Subject Field > contains.
Manually type the curly brackets and characters you're looking for (e.g., {******} where the asterisks represent the 10 characters).
Use Wildcards:
You might be able to use wildcards like ? for a single character or * for multiple characters (though this doesn't always work with special characters like { and }).
Unfortunately, Outlook's search engine has limitations around special characters. If this doesnt return results, try filtering by other criteria first or use a different email client or tool with more advanced filtering capabilities.
Thanks for the reply. Actually having quite a lot of issue with Outlook's earch. If I choose "All Outlook Items" it returns nothing at all, for anything.
