I work at a hospital and we have several shifts. I assigned each shift a number. Day Shift is 1, Night Shift is 2, etc. We have 10 different shifts.
I am trying to make a work schedule to make sure I have enough coverage. I list all of the employees in column 1. At the top going across are the days of the week. So, say on Mondays I need shift 1,3,4,6 covered. Mary will cover shift 1, Susie will cover shift 3, John will cover shift 4, Bob will have 6.
Is there a formula that says "this column must contain a 1,3,4,6"?
That way, if I forgot to put someone on shift 6, I will get an error and realize I need to find someone to work shift 6. On my attached example, I forgot to cover shift 6 on Monday, so I want it to tell me there is an error.
