Outlook "Strip Attachment" macro suddenly stopped working

    Hello All,

I had located the following Outlook macro which has worked perfectly fine for several months. Then today I when I tried running it I received an error message stating "“the macro in this project have been deleted (or disabled).” Do you know what would cause this?

I use this macro to strip attachments from old emails. Where I would like to save the email, but not the attachment.

Also, just a a questions for my own learning. Is it safe to use this sort of macro coding found online? This code seems pretty lengthy and I'm hoping that the files being stripped our not being saved to another location. Can someone please help? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

The code is excessive for your purposes. Given the following, attachments can be saved.

I assume if you found this online the above folder does not exist on your computer or network. I have not verified but the code when it worked, probably did not fail because of "On Error Resume Next.

Many people asking questions in non-professional forums are unaware of what their code does. They take their chances.
