Add hyperlink to email using macros

    Hi

I hope someone can help me. I am stuck. I am trying to add a clickable hyperlink to a macro that types out a set email when run. These are set templates I use for work which I use to reply to customers. I usually hit reply and then make sure it is in HTML format by checking in Format text and then click a button which is linked to the macro. I am using Outlook 2010.

I just want to make it clickable without putting the www in front of the url. The text shown will be exactly the same as the url. eg. google.com.au

I have two types of code that I tweek to use for my macros:

    Hi humdingaling

Thanks for that. I can't copy and paste that into my current code without somehow changing it to html.body

I'm confused on where to stick the html.body because i'm not using a .body field anywhere in my code.

Even though under the format text menu, it states the email is being written in HTML

Re: Add hyperlink to email using macros

    not a problem
the site as it gave me insight to syntax hence i referred it

when i tried to put everything into the one line it didnt work for me
i seperated the link and link text and it seemed to work for me in your example
maybe i was just doing it wrong

anyway a little bit of trial and error did the trick
