Adding new appointment after each accepted meeting invite

I've got a problem at work where people literally invite me to meetings one after another. They check my calendar and if see a slot put a meeting. This really annoys me as I may be required to attend multiple meetings throughout a day without any break at all. It is also a hassle to go afterwards and ask to reschedule.

I was wondering if there is a macro or any other way of doing this so when I accept a meeting then a new private appointment is added to my calendar straight away, which would automatically stop colleagues from inviting me to a meeting straight after last one, for example if I get an invite for a meeting from 14:00 to 15:00 and I accept it then straight away new private appointment gets added to my calendar from 15:00 to 15:30.

based on everything you said, this doesn't make sense:

that sounds like an attempt by you to pretend that you are busy for EVERY half an hour timeslot in your schedule AFTER you accept an hour long meeting at any given time. is that what you're attempting to do here? fill timeslots in your day via calendar entries after you officially accept a meeting invite so your co-workers will not sending you meeting invites one after the other, as you've stated?

if that's ur issue, then obviously you can do it. like all office programs, anything you can do through the interface can be done with VBA code using the program's object model. well, almost anything. and I'm pretty sure cal. entries and meetings are part of the object model. to get started with learning, check these out:
