HI Jim28,
In Outlook 2010 simply create a rule based on a sender to delete the message.
No code needed.
See http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/ou...010355682.aspx
Or http://www.outlook-tips.net/2011/154...unk-email-rule
One test is worth a thousand opinions.

I am talking about CURRENT mail in my inbox I have over 5000 messages!
OK Jim28 see if this helps. I'm running Outlook 2010.
I see a message from Handango and I want to delete all of the CURRENT messages from them.
I start by clicking on the message from Handango as it helps later...
I click on an Icon called Rules and then "Always Move Messages from Handango"
A window pops up called Rules and Alerts wanting me to show where to move messages from Handango to. I click on the "Deleted Items" folder
I then look at my Deleted Items folder and find 113 messages from Handango in it. I would then right click on "Deleted Items" and empty that folder.
Is this what you were looking for?
You can "create a rule" also to do this and the last question is "Run this rule now on messages already in the current folder?" This would also solve your problem.
A third way would be to sort your messages by the From field and simply select all of the ones from whom you don't want anymore and delete them as a group.
Yeah dont code - set a rule to a DIR - job done, then you can havea look asrequired
Sure if an idiot sender its painful = if you DIR then you quarenteen in a fashion and can delate as required
If you getting millions watch your profile thou as them Ups / downs
Keep on top of these things be fine
