How to set an email as 'modified' so spellcheck activates

Hi, I have some code that does some checking before sending an email. After all the checks have been done I then 'click' the spellcheck button using the following code

Please Login or Register to view this content.
Only problem is that if I am forwarding an email and making no changes to it, the code stops dead at the code above because I assume the spellcheck doesn't want to activate if it knows there has been no changes.

Is there a way to fool the spellcheck into thinking that the email has been modified in some way so my code can continue?

    Thanks
    John
