Hey all, thanks in advance for the help.
I get order confirmation emails which contain the following information that I need to extract to excel:
Order Number
Estimated Delivery Date
Shipping Name
Shipping Address
Carrier name
Carrier tracking #
Subtotal
Shipping and Handling
Tax
Shipment Total
The emails are structured for the most part but I've noticed slight variations in them. Originally I was using a cheap software program to extract the data by line #, but this is unreliable with the variations. So what is the best way to get all this info out of the email and into an excel file where I can apply macros on it. If I could somehow tell the outlook macro to extract everything between the words "asdf" and "defg" that might work. But what method do you guys suggest is the best. The msg appears to have both a text version and html version in it, and the html version uses tables.
How should I go about this?
