    Macro to clean up conversations

    Hello,

I have some experience with macros in Excel but am failing to develop what I want in Outlook. I want to write a macro that would clean-up conversations in a specific folder when I run the macro. Ideally, I would also want that macro to run automatically when I close Outlook.

Any help would be much appreciated

    Thanks!
    Pascal

In Outlook 2010, you can sort your emails by subjects by clicking on the option "conversations". And then, you have the option to clean up conversations. When doing this, Outlook will eliminate any redundant message in each conversation thread. So it does a lot of nice clean-up. There is an option to "clean up conversation" in a given folder, but I don't know how I can program this in VBA to automate this task each time I click on a button or each time I close Outlook for instance.
