Make it part of the slide background?
Yes, that's could be an option. Following your suggestion I right clicked in the middle of a slide -> format background, but couldn't find how to insert jpg..
Create a new blank slide which will give you your existing background. Right click and save background will give allow you to save this as a jpg. Load this into paint or whatever image editing program you have, insert your picture over the top as neccessary, then save as a jpg.
Then go to format background, and on selecting the colour choose "fill effects", then the picture tab and load the picture you saved. Then click apply all.
Note - this is how I do it in 2003... not sure if everything will be in the same place in 2010...
Thanks. I'm using 2010 version. Your solution is interesting, but it suggests that PP makers didn't think people will need to add logo more often, I'd expect it to have built-in option. Happy that most of the time I use Excel and not PP
I think the other way would be to change the master slide, in 2003 it's view->master->slide, then you can put a picture on and position and it will apply to all slides.
I tend to use the first way because you can save your backgrounds and I find it easier to have a stock slide with a logo on a background that I just use for all presentations.
Very well, I'll check it. Thanks
