    Getting error #name!

    Hello Friends,
If the column ‘Information!$a$1=Std. 5 A’ then I want a value from ‘Conversion!dx10 or ey10’ whichever the column contains a value. From these two columns one column contains dash sign and one column contains a value. I want to ignore dash sign and carry the value on Grade sheet.

    I’m getting error #name!

    Any help will be appreciated.

    Thanking you,
    Attached Files Attached Files
    Sincerely,

    mso3

    Re: Getting error #name!

    Hi Ron,
Thank you. It's partially working. If there is a dash sign in column 'DX' then the value in column 'EY' should carry and if there is a dash sign in column 'EY' then the value in column 'Dx' should carry. I don't want to carry dash sign on the grade sheet.

    Thanking you.

    =IF(Information!$A$1="","",IF(OR(Information!$A$1="Std. 5 A",Information!$A$1="Std. 5 B"),IF(Conversion2!$DX$10="-",Conversion2!EY10,Conversion2!$DX$10),""))
    try this
