Refresh All - need to hit it twice to really update all pivots

    Hi,

I have a spreadsheet running 10 different pivot tables. I realized that I have to hit "Refresh All" twice in order for all of them to actually update. If I do it only once - few are left without an update.
Would you have any idea why that happens?
    It's Excel 2007.

    Hi,

I am not sure the exact issue......but what you can do is just save as somewhere else or refresh it again.
If this is not solved then try to save as with extension .xlsb and try one more time.

What is the data source for the pivots? If it's tables that are linked to external data, make sure they are set to not refresh in the background.

Sources are in multiple sheets within that workbook. No external links.

The pivot tables which doesn't change, please check the link of these pivot, may be your table header name change which impact not coming in pivot.

Hmmm. Can I manage the order in which Pivots are updated? Maybe that is the issue here since some Pivot Tables are based on data generated in others.

EDIT: I'm cosing down this thread and mark it as SOLVED as the nature of the problem is different. Thanks for your help.

unchecking enable background refresh on data sources corrected the issue for me.
