Formula Function and Chart first and last date with data

End Goal: Look at the first and last day of each month for every year in comparison on a chart/graph.

Idea i'm working on-
I would like to know with the attached spreadsheet is there a formula that I can input into the orange cells that will pull the date that I have there.
L2 is the first date of the first month of the first year with data
L3 is the last date of the first month of the first year with data
L4 is the first date of the second month of the first year with data
goes on in pattern until
L24 is the first date of the last month or month twelve of the first year with data
L25 is the last date of the last month or month twelve of the first year with data

OR

A better way all around-
If there is a way to setup a graph without having to customize this chart or maybe a pivot chart because I know nothing about pivot charts.

Column F was highlighted in orange, so I put the formulas there. I did not address charting, as I was not sure what type chart you are striving for.

The results I was looking for are in column D. I was hoping there was a formula that would pull the minimum date with data of the first date of the first month of the year shown in the corresponding E1. And the very next cell below D2 would pull the last date with data of the first month of the corresponding year in E1. I ended up writing a macro by the time it was all said and done and I just took the time to find the dates for each month and year for the 1st and last dates manually.
