Protecting Pages

I have a Workbook with a summary page and several other pages.
Each of the other pages contains information that should be able to updated by only one person i.e. the person who 'owns' that information.
Is it possible to protect ALL pages but allow person A to change certain cells in his sheet and person B to change certain cells in his sheet etc.
There is no problem allowing ALL view all pages.
In addition, one person needs the ability to access and change ALL pages.

I can do this in Google docs but am having problems in that arena writing macros

Is it possible in Excel?

Could you not just put an unprotect password on each sheet, and only give the relevant password to the relevant people?

That is possible but I am dealing with people who are not computer literate. ANd am trying to make it as easy as possible for them to enter the information.

Activate the worksheet to be protected, then choose Tools - Protection - Protect Sheet. You will be asked to provide a password (optional). If you do provide a password, that password will be required to unprotect the worksheet.
