Hi, there! I'm new here and I have lots of questions.
First of all, I’m not an expert in Excel. Actually, I know how to do a very few things. Because of that, I don’t know if what I want to do can be done on excel.
I have a sheet that looks something like that
sff.PNGipant)
2) Check if the tanner_stage clumn has the same value as the higher value from right_breast and left_breast columns (see T3, where RB is 1 and LB is 2, so TS is 2)
3) Check that in Tanner_stage de number by ID is always in ascending order. So for example, between T1 and T2 the participant went from
2 to 1. That’s not right, because this is a growth measurement and participants can’t have lowers values than past years.
I need to find those wrong values, wrong because they aren’t the same as RB or LB higher value, or wrong because newer values are lower than older values.
I don’t know anything about excel and I’m not a very good English speaker, so I’m really sorry if this came up a little bit messy.
Can I search information with this conditions on excel? In the end, what I want is to know which IDs have wrong info.
