I'm trying to write a function in excel where it will search for an employee's hours for the day. If the employee had no hours, it moves on to the next employee until one does and it puts their name in one cell and then the corresponding hours into the next. Then, in the cell below, a similar formula starts where the previous formula left off. Is this possible and how perhaps.
Hours Worked: Mon Tues Wed Thurs Fri
Mike 0 7 6 5 0
Pete 4 2 5 0 0
Carrie 1 3 4 0 5
Monday
Pete 4
Carrie 1
Tuesday
Mike 7
Pete 2
Carrie 3
Etc...
