Protect or Lock height/width but still be able to edit cell content and other formatting?

I have a document that I want to maintain the cell height/width, and when I send it to a colleague for review, he keeps changing the rows and columns to be varying sizes. He needs to be able to make other changes to the cells, such as text or background color, so I don't want to completely protect the document so he can't edit content and some formatting. I only want to protect the height and width of the rows and columns so he won't keep changing them.

Is there a way to do that?

Thank you. I tried that, but it didn't seem to work. The colleague I work with will definitely change the column height/width and save his work that way, and send it back to me like that, which I'm trying to prevent. I'd like him to not be able to move column height/width at all.

The reason I'm trying to lock height and width is because I keep a large volume of columns and rows hidden, and when he selects the entire workbook and changes the height/width, it will un-hide everything I need to keep hidden, which I don't want. It ends up a mess, and he is more likely to manipulate the data he didn't even realize I need in place.

Alternatively, is there a way to lock the hidden text from becoming viewable again unless a password is entered or something like that? Anything that would keep hidden content where it is would be my first priority, but the code you gave above would be helpful if it would also keep hidden content hidden.

I didn't know there was "very hidden" capability! Is it possible to select rows and columns to make very hidden, or does it only work on an entire sheet?

Hi,

If you want to protect the sheet then use "Very Hidden".
"Protect Workbook (structure)" this will protect the structure of the workbook and no one will change or unhide any rows or columns.
