I need to format computed cells with value greater than zero. conditions I’ve tried fail
E.G. Column E formatted with dark gray fill
Conditional Format Rule =$E1>0
Conditional Format Fill = none

You do not have any rules that say
=$E1>0
I added one for column E and it seems to work fine (see row 56)

What's interesting is that you added a conditional format applicable to the entirety of column E, while I have been trying to make cells in E7 to E68 show no fill if the condition in my formula [=AND(OR($A7="H",$A7="T"),$B7<>0,$E7>0)]are met (some other cells will have non-zero values when used in the larger workbook).
WhenI add $E7 to my formula for the range $E$7-$E$68, it doesn't work.
If I add your suggestion covering all of Column E to my conditional format, it works, but I don't understand why.
Note the conditional format in Column S, which mimics they original format in Column E does work.
The only difference I can think of is that Column S is blank, while Column E is the result of a calculation with data from another sheet.
Any ideas?
I would avoid using full-column ranges, but could you explain - in words - exactly what your rules are, which columns they apply to, and which columns they are dependent on?
