Allow data entry but not deletion in sheet, ideally with warning/password

The title says it, really. I've been thrashing around trying to create VBA code to allow users to enter data into a sheet, but not to delete it. Ideally I'd password protect deletion for the admins to use, but a warning that it's not possible to delete would suffice. I've tried the below, but has a number of "end of statement" errors in it, and not really what I'm hoping for. Any thoughs would be massively appreciated!

to allow users to enter data into a sheet, but not to delete it.
When I read this, then i think why not using a userform?

I'm afraid those are rather beyond me, and would probably complicate the system for the users. I also need to roll the system out quickly, so would probably not have the time to impliment them.

The opposite is true, userforms make life easier for the users.
    Can you post an example?
