    How to count expired cells but only if they aren't marked with YES in another cell

    Hello,

    I currently am using this formula to show expired dates:

    =COUNTIF(TABSAM!E:E, "<"&TODAY())

    but in another column there is a heading called Completed and two options of YES & NO. If selected YES it means the task is complete.

    How can I still count the expired dates but not include any dates that have been marked with YES?

    I hope that makes a little sense!

    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome to the forum.

    Try this:

    =COUNTIFS(TABSAM!E:E, "<"&TODAY(),TABSAM!F:F,"<>Yes")

    where F:F is the column containing yes or no.
