    rather than a picture can you load a spreadsheet , much easier to see whats going on and also to provide an answer in the context of your spreadsheet, otherwise we have to create the spreadsheet just to give an answer which is additional work

    Re: Payrol Time Help

    using your formula

    =IF(MOD(D6-C6,1)>=5.5/24,MOD(D6-C6,1)-0.5/24,MOD(D6-C6,1))
    and changing from 5.5 to 7.5
    =IF(MOD(D6-C6,1)>=7.5/24,MOD(D6-C6,1)-0.5/24,MOD(D6-C6,1))
    seems to work OK in column E
    which bit does not work for you ?

    Re: Payrol Time Help

    C7 is 14:30
    D7 is 00:30
    so thats 10 hours

    E7
    Result is 9.5 regardless of >5.5 or >7.5
    removes .5

    sorry don't understand - can you explain

    why should the result be 9 in row 7

    Re: Payrol Time Help

    you have 1 cell but more than 1 row of data
    do you want $14 if any of those rows are 8 hours or above
    or a multiple - for each 8 hours add an additional $14
    =COUNTIF(F5:F11,">"&8)
    this will count how many entries above 8
    so you could use
    =COUNTIF(F5:F11,">="&8) * 14
    if a multiple
    OR
    if just 1 payment regardless of how many days above 8
    =IF(COUNTIF(F5:F11,">="&8)>0,14,0)
