Summing values below cells that contain a specific text

Hi everyone! I'm trying to make a sales report on Excel but here's what I'm having trouble with:

In the attached file, I would like a formula that would sum all the cash payments and one that would sum all the credit card payments in column F. I have managed to use "SUMIF" to get the daily total payments in each method, but I can't get the monthly totals.

Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Why don't you do another SUMIF across the whole column?

=SUMIF($F$2:$F$34,"Credit Card",$F$3:$F$35)

How to mark a thread Solved
Go to the first post
Click edit
Click Go Advanced
Just below the word Title you will see a dropdown with the word No prefix.
Change to Solved
Click Save
