    Question Pasted XL tables do not behave in Word as they do in XL

    Hello everyone,

    I have been trying to copy an Excel table that I made, into a new Word document.
    My goal is that whenever I will press Enter while editing the Excel table, I would like to get a new line - just as it happens while editing in Excel. Currently though, the Word editor treats each cell just a a separate page, and pressing Enter just adds a verse within the cell. How can I make the program do what is required?

    Kind regards,
    s

    Thank you Pepe.

    Sorry about the title - and thank you again for adjusting it for me .

    In regards to the explanation... Well. I wanted to add an Excel table to a Word document and allow the Excel table to be edited while using Word.

    I set the table up to have 3 rows:
    1) description;
    2) ammounts;
    3) Total

    What I am trying to establish is that whenever I will press ENTER on my keyboard, while being in any column of the second row - that row will insert an unpopulted copy of row #2 (with the same formating) below and push row #3 (sort of) a step lower.

    Is this possible to do with just the basic XL or Word features?

    Is this a bit more clear?

    Cheers
