Count with multiple criterias

Hello,

I am trying to count how many people are part of a certain group and a certain country. For example, I am trying to find a formula that would have the following criteria:

- Count people column if the Group is AEBC and Country is Brazil.

I have tried CountIFs with CountA but I am not doing something correctly. Please help.

I have attached an excel with a simple sample.

F8: =COUNTIFS(Table1[Country],F$7,Table1[Group],$E8)
applied to matrix F8:G9
