Duplicate word auto-identification

Auto-identifying duplicate words is easy if the words are repeated after each other ("we go to to the beach").

But not if you are looking for individual words spread around the text.

What is the point of wanting to know whether the same word appears more than once in a word document? Such occurrences are perfectly normal.
