By the way, if MS-Off Ver: 3 in your profile means that you are using the 2003 version of Excel then please put 2003, or whatever version you are using, in your profile.

sorry , im new to this. may i know how to use this formula but for same date?
=SUMPRODUCT(ISNUMBER(SEARCH("denney wage",Statement!B2:B16000))*(Statement!A2:A16000>="05/04/09"+0)*(Statement!A2:A16000<="30/04/09"+0),Statement!C2:C16000)
If by "same date" you mean a single date such as April 5th, 2009, then the formula could read:Formula:Please Login or Register to view this content.
If that isn't what you mean then please explain or, better yet, upload a file that illustrates what you want.

IN THE COLUMN B : DATE
IN THE COLUMN C : ID TEXT + NUMBER ( Example : my02570348578 )
IN THE COLUMN D : AMOUNT
IN THE COLUMN J : MULTIPLE ID
IN THE COLUMN K : TOTAL AMOUNT
im using this formula right now , it work fine but i dont know how to calculate it by the same date .
=SUMPRODUCT(ISNUMBER(SEARCH($C$2:$C$11,J2))*($D$2:$D$11))
Here is a guess:Formula:Please Login or Register to view this content.
It is about the best that I can do without being able to see what you want. I am still confused as to what "same date" means, and am in hopes that when/if I can see a sample file, I'll be able to understand.
