    Excel slicer

    Hi,

Hope you can help. Is it possible to hide a certain selection on the slicer? Basically I want to hide data on the graph on where the department has left than 5 employees?

    Thanks

    Re: Excel slicer

    Hi sansan,

Can you create a helper column that gives a blank when Employees is less than 5? Then do your slicer on this and use Slicer Settings to Hide rows with no data? See the attached.

    Hi Vraag,
Click on the "Slicer Helper Hide no data.xlsx" and it should be there. I've just learned how to attach files a little quicker.

Thanks, hide with no data would only work if no data right?

    Re: Excel slicer

Yep, but that is why I built a helper column and an If() formula in it to go to "No Data" if the Employees were less than 5. Use this helper column instead of the real column in your slicer.

Thanks, I guess you built the helper on the master data? I will try this out and let you know. Thanks
