Question Access Database on a shared drive

Hello. I put an Access form linked to a database on a shared drive for people in my group to use, but we have run into an issue. When connecting to the shared drive, you select the prefix (for example, Z:, I:, etc.) depending on what drive letters you still have open. I am connected to quite a few, so I chose Z: as my prefix, so the path from the Access form to the database that I set is Z:\Folder1\Folder2\Database.accdb (example names). However, if someone is trying to use it who has a different prefix for their drive, they cannot open it. Is it possible to fix this issue without requiring everyone to change their drive prefix? Thanks in advance!

Use a full UNC file path. A UNC path is the path to a folder or file on a network and contains the server name in the path. For example, \\server01\sage\jobcosting This avoids the issue you are having.
