It is showing as a date here. 44011 is just the serial number (days since 01/01/1900), so if you set the cell formatting to match the date format you want, it should show correctly.

    What I see by default:

    Excel 2016 (Windows) 32 bit
    K
    2
    29/06/2020
    Sheet: Actions

What I see when I change formatting to mm/dd/yyyy:

    Excel 2016 (Windows) 32 bit
    K
    2
    06/29/2020
    Sheet: Actions

    Hi Ali

thank you for your reply. This has made no change on my end whatsoever, even whilst looking/using your workbook, any other guidance please?

Just to clarify, the project planner snapshot, cell L1 needs to pull the date in from cell K2 on the actions tab.

    Sorry! I misunderstood.

    This should do it:

    ="Next meeting: " & TEXT(Actions!K2,"mm/dd/yyyy") & " *DO NOT MAKE CHANGES ON THIS PAGE*"
