Need help extracting the value in a table based on a calculated time using Match or Index

    Hello,

I am looking to query a table that is sorted in descending order (due to the -1 rule for the Match formula). I'd like to extract the value out of a cell that I found with the Match formula.

In the example attached I have a starting point of the shortest time (14.582).

The next value I am looking for is the next slowest value after I add 1 second to the 14.582. So whatever time is next slowest after 15.582 seconds. There is a 3rd group that starts 2.5 seconds after the fastest. I would use the same approach for that once I figure the 1st one out.

So far I am able to use the Match formula and am able to locate the correct location in the table. Location 14 for the 2nd group and 24 for the 3rd group.

What I can't figure out is how to extract the value of that table location.

Or maybe I'm approaching this incorrectly to begin with.

    Thanks!

    Welcome to the forum

Just wrap what you have in an index() function:

Sweet. Thanks. I knew it was just staring me in the face.
