If you have real dates in that column (and not just text strings which look like dates), then you can apply a Custom Format to the whole column of:

The thing is that there is an another formula that take this cell with moth number "8" and use it to calculate another thing. if i change the display from 01/08/2020 to "8" just by formating, the formula read it as "01/08/2020" and not as "8" and it mess the formula

You can change the other formula so that instead of taking the value of the cell you would use:

... MONTH(cell) ...
