Unexpected Error - something Went Wrong, If the problem continues restart excel

i get this error message "Unexpected Error - something Went Wrong, If the problem continues restart excel" when i try importing data from web or use power query. Here are pointers

1. If I restart my Laptop, It work just once and from 2nd time this error occurs ( I mean I am able to import data from web for once after restarting excel)
2. I tried Repairing Office
3. I tried reinstalling Office

Any help would be greatly appreciated

I suspect the problem is data being imported. It's probably proprietary, so you can't share it. Which means anyone else would have to guess what could be going wrong.

You may need to use a form of binary search to isolate the problem. If you could import half the fields, try doing so for each half of the fields. The goal would be to see if there were some fields which NEVER cause problems, thus isolating the others which do cause problems. Then try importing each of those individually. If none cause problems individually, try different combinations. When you've isolated the combination of fields which usually cause problems, what do those fields look like, that is, are there LOTS of characters?

There's also an outside chance that something is using too many system resources. You should run Task Manager the next time you try one of these imports to see what system resource usage looks like during the operation.
