Getting part of a worksheet name from a cell value

so that basically, if the value for $A103 is 'Sheet1', then it would be the same as the first formula?

Use the indirect formula. If your sheet name has a space in it make sure you put the single hash 'sheet 1' around the name.

As you see, the quotes are different. Does it matter if it is how I put it, you put it, or Squeaky has it? If I have a lot of similar formulas, does the quote placement impact performance?
