Marked as solved as managed to find answer myself
I would like to create a pivot table that can answer queries such as:
- how many people took holiday in September?
- how many hours of sickness were logged in August?
- who is on maternity leave?
The raw data I export from my HR system is in a terrible format so this isn't (to me!) a straight forward task.
Attached shows:
- grey area = the raw data export from my HR system (any cells I have anonymized are in dark grey)
- green area = formula a kind person on here helped me with
- orange area = section I need support with
My question:
- based on the start/end dates of a period of leave (columns J and K), how can I get the number of working days split by month in columns N to Y?
- once I have the above, how can I show this in a pivot (my attempt is saved in sheet 2)
