    Calculate Percentage of a Percentage

Can someone please help me to know the formula in this sheet to calculate the Results (column C).
If the subject mark = 100%, then the Result will be 10%, which is the max Point a student can get

    Just divide B2 by 10:

    =B2/10

    It’s not hard. In C5:

    =B5/10

    Drag copy down.

Re: Calculate Percentage of a Percentage

Please note that the reason you are dividing by 10 is because that is (100% / 10%), so if in future the 100% represents 20% (say) then you would be diving by (100 / 20), or 5.

    Hope this helps.
