Lookup between worksheets

Hi,

I have 2 worksheets Base and New.

I have 3 columns in Client, Plan number and Sales. I have the same headings in New. I would like to search Plan number in column B in Base and if there is a match to Plan number in New it enters the matching sales into column C in new.

ie for Harry it looks for Plan no IH00443968 inBASE and then enters 76 in C5 in worksheet NEW.

I'm sure this is pretty simple but I can't get my mind around it!

Formula for C2 then fill down =IF(ISNA(MATCH(B2,Base!B:B,0)),"",INDEX(Base!C:C,MATCH(B2,Base!B:B,0)))
