Name Created in Name Manager Doesn't Show In Dropdown List

Hopefully this is easy. I'm wanting a created name to show in the dropdown list on a certain spreadsheet. The purpose of this name is to position myself to the last entry in the sheet in Column A.

I went to name manager and created a name like this:

    =OFFSET('Office 365 Spam Processing'!$A$2121,0,0,COUNTA('Office 365 Spam Processing'!$A:$A)-1) and called it Blocked

I started with A2121 because there were some cells above that that were blank.

In any case, it takes the name but won't show it to me on the dropdown list of names when on that sheet. How do I get it to appear?

I don't understand what you mean by:

In any case, it takes the name but won't show it to me on the dropdown list of names when on that sheet.

Can you post the sheet (suitably anonymised), or a sample, showing the problem?

As far as I know, there is no way of getting dynamic range names don't show in the drop-down.

The uploaded jpeg images aren't showing. How do I add images?

I don't want a picture.... please post the sheet.

Dynamic named ranges do not show in the drop down & AFAIK there is no way to change that.

Are you getting confused - do you require data validation - just a thought

No. Not data validation. I just want a quick way of getting to the bottom of column A. A column to the right has data in it that goes much farther than column A, so CTRL-End doesn’t help. I can do CTRL-Shift-Down on column A, but I need to be beyond some spaces in the data. I want something like the safe name I have at the top, where I can choose a drop down and it’ll go to the next opening, but that one isn’t self adjusting like I’d like it to be. It’s just a certain cell.

One option is a macro, if your interested in that.
    Another is
Ctrl End, followed by Home, followed by Ctrl Up Arrow.
