SUMIF not working - showing zero

Hi there,

I had a look though other forum threads on a similar topic but can't seem to see why mine still isn't working.

I'm trying to calculate the amount earned from each specific category in my store. For example "Originals" is one category, "Prints" a second, "FIF" a third etc.

I've attached a screenshot of my screen, with the formula I'm using shown in the top bar.

(Customers names blanked out, hence the red line)

Fast answers need clear examples. Post a small Excel sheet (not a picture) showing realistic & representative sample data WITHOUT confidential information (10-20 rows, not thousands...) and some manually calculated results. Just before posting, scroll down to GO ADVANCED, click, and then scroll down to MANAGE ATTACHMENTS and click again. Now follow the instructions at the top of that screen.

You've got the range arguments the wrong way round. For SUMIF (unlike SUMIFS) the first range is the one containing the criteria, not the one you want to sum.
