i want cells to auto fill with colour when i enter a number

ie, when entering data into a speadsheet if 1 entered 1 the cell would go
red, 2 orange etc

hi,
you can use conditional formating for up to 3 colors. if you want more you
will have to use a macro using the worksheet change event.
