    Excel formula problem with percentages

    My problem with the formula attached is that I am trying to use a cell that equals 16%(E-1) to calculate profit of cell(D-1) which does not compute properly in cell(G-1)

    who-ever can help me would be appreciated

    Should it be?

    =D1*(1+E1)
    Where there is a will there are many ways.
